A Tawau Summary
Lynna has been bugging and bugging me to update. And the only reason I'm updating is because I made a promise to her that I would as long as she helps me build a character for RO. Can you believe that? Something's wrong here. Actually, to tell you the truth, I feel like I'm getting a bit too addicted to the game. Must cut down, tapi tak nak. It's definitely effecting my daily life. And also I think it's annoying Lynna too, but she's being very patient. Last night she wanted to watch "Kal Ho Na Ho" with me and when I buat macam nak main RO, she tarik muka. So, I complied, but her face was still a bit masam. Luckily she looks cute. Anyway, Tawau was just one big eating spree. Everyone wanted me to eat. Even when I let people know that I'm trying to diet, they just laughed and handed me more food. And the funny thing is everyone's been telling me that when you get to Sabah make sure to have seafood. It's the best! Blah, blah... Well, that the one thing I didn't get a chance to eat. Although, at Semporna I saw some huge fishies. I mean it's like the size of a baby horse or something. Definitely bigger than a dog. Kinda scary, cause their faces where ugly too. Made me wonder why people wanna go scuba diving. To hang out with that? ugh.... On the up side though, I managed to go jogging six days out of the ten. Jogging was at 6:30am and people there considered that to be late to go jogging. In fact, whenever I get to the jogging area people are warming down already. Oh well... at least I'm jogging. I met sooooo many people there. I guess you can call some of them fans; it feels weird for me to refer to them as such, but that's what they kept telling me. Everyday there were a lot of people who wanted to meet me, take photographs, sign autographs and chat. They would come to the house I was staying at or whenever I was about town. I was ok for a few days, but by the end of it I was getting tired. Two days before coming back to KL I was starting to feel very the take sabar get back home. One, because of RO. Two, because I just wanted to stay home and not meet ANYONE for a few days. Lynna's got such a lovely family. They are all so sweet. My jogging partner was Lynna's brother Zakir, who's a former rugby player. Although he claims to have not exercised in a long time, but he was still fitter that me. Trying to keep up him with was not a good idea; it put me in a lot of pain for a few days. Lynna's mum, for some reason, loved talking to me in bugis. And would laugh whole heartedly because I couldn't understand. I started learning some phrases because of this. Some of the tv crew here in KL who is bugis where hysterical when I said, "Mandre mega-mega" to them. One thing though, I found Tawau to be very relaxing (in a tiring sorta way).
