Girlfriend

Didn't sleep... For no other reason except staying up playing games. Hope my girlfriend isn't reading this, she'd be most upset. Maybe if I wrote in complicated english she won't understand what I'm writing. Very the kampung girl. She's so cute. Her english is atrocious which is what adds to her cuteness. You should hear how she pronounces the word "pure", it comes out as "poo-ree". She knows when she's mispronounced a word as I can't help smiling; fortunately she takes it well. Yet, for all her cuteness, she's one tough cookie. She's what's known as a "D" personality or "Choleric", which are people who are dominant, demanding, action oriented and can be quite bossy, stubborn, wants to be heard but doesn't listen. They are very comfortable ordering people around, but hate to be told what to do. And my girlfriend is a HIGH "D". *sigh* Which means take all that and times it by a hundred. Ok lah... I'm exaggerating, but she IS a high "D". It's been interesting teaching her some people skills. She has this tendency, if she's not satisfied with somebody (especially when things don't go her way), to go up to her/him and ask/demand "WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?!?" You know, it's interesting training her, trying to get her to understand that that is not nessecarily the best approach to a situation. Cause, you know, there's not that many people I know that likes to be accused that there's something wrong with them, but she didn't see it that way at all. To her the question was very valid. That really amazed me when I first encountered it. The reason being is that I've been trained so differently. For me, I've been taught that people don't remember you for what you say, but for how you make them feel. So when you make a statement or question a person like that, it's not very nice, is it? But hey, D-people, they don't worry too much about what other people feel sometimes. Not that they don't care, it's just not on their minds. So getting her to think like that is kinda unnatural for her. Get's her abit stressed. But she's so cute when she struggles.
